The ASRI (Auwal Socio-Economic Research Institute) have just released a short paper on education policy written by Jamie-Lee Dormehl who is completing her Master’s in research psychology at North-West University. The paper is entitled, “The state of our education system and principles for improvement” – to say that I felt depressed after reading the paper is an under-statement, however, the paper also highlights key principles – based on sound, global research – that, if adhered to, would get South Africa out of the deep, dark hole in which our education system currently sits.
