Pioneering Student Futures – skills and career discovery at scale was presented by Mark Mitchel at the Careers Services Forum 2024.
Mark and his team support the targetconnect platform, which Careers and Employability teams across the UK, Ireland, Europe and Australia use to support their students and maximise successful graduate outcomes. Mark has a rich background working at the intersection of education, enterprise, skills and employability. Mark was previously Managing Director of gradireland, Ireland’s leading graduate careers platform. The gradireland brand is a joint venture with AHECS (the Association of Higher Education Careers Services in Ireland) and Mark brings his many years of collaborative co-creation with the university sector with him as the targetconnect platform develops and extends both internationally and also across individual institutions, expanding targetconnect use to support whole the student experience.
