Career Management & Recruitability

This module considers the concepts of Career Management and Recruitability: what does it mean to manage our Careers and then apply successfully for the roles we want? The module considers how storytelling develops identity within Career decision-making for students and early career graduates, and the barriers they might face during their Career management and recruitment journeys. It also explores also the importance of talent recruitment and development as part of shaping the identity and story of an employer organisation: who are you recruiting, and why?

The module considers the different elements of an employer’s recruitment process and how universities and foundations can prepare students for those processes through Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG), including meeting employers. There is also a short briefing on AI.
