| About: | The Sasol Foundation is a Centre of Excellence for all education initiatives for Sasol South Africa, which seeks to build a strong foundation for STEM education and produce human capital for the future growth of the energy and chemicals sector. The Sasol Foundation supports education throughout the value chain, from Early Childhood Education to Tertiary Education and beyond to include employment and entrepreneurship. The Tertiary Portfolio focusses on creating access to higher education through provision of a comprehensive bursary covering tuition, accommodation, monthly allowance, book allowance, laptop, and other necessities. We also provide psycho-social support, work readiness and digital skills training in order to prepare the youth for the future world of work. The Foundation also provides research and infrastructure support for Historically Disadvantaged Institutions to increase their research capacity and innovation towards building green skills training platform to create an adaptable workforce. |
