AboutThe Career Development Office within Student Support Services offers a range of services that prepare students for seamless integration into the world of work.
Partnership OfferingServices offered include: – Graduate Recruitment seminars & presentations – Careers/Employers’ Fairs – Individual consultation on Job Search Skills – Job Search Skills Workshops – Part-time & full-time Employment – Employer Magazines & Publications • Preparing students for the world of work: The CDO prepares students through work readiness workshops such as Cover/Motivational letter writing, CV writing, job applications, work-related transferable skills, work ethics and interviewing skills. These workshops are delivered both one-on-one and in groups. • Exposing students to prospective employers: The Careers office exposes students to the world of work and prospective employers, locally, nationally and internationally. This is facilitated through our Accounting Profession’s Day, Law Day, Annual General Careers Exhibition, Company Presentations and Company Showcases thereby facilitating contact between our students/young graduates and prospective employers • Part-time and Full-time Employment We advertise part-time, full time, vacation jobs and internships through the online University portal, notice boards and Moodle. We also email students on our database, directly.
